Service Offered

Local Government Ombudsman service. Investigates complaints about maladministration causing injustice to individuals. Investigates complaints about local authorities and certain other bodies covering issues including education, housing, planning and social services. A list of authorities covered can be found on the website. Adviceline provides information and advice on making a complaint.
