Y Advice and Support Centre (YASC)
Service Offered
Drop-in centre providing information, advice and support for anyone who is homeless, facing a housing crisis or moving into accommodation and in need of help. NHS primary care outreach team based at the centre daily. Psychiatric nurse available Monday 11am-12 noon, and Tuesday-Friday 9am-12 noon. Part of YMCA Leicester. YASC is relocating to new Multi-Disciplinary Centre around the end of 2oo5.
Target Group
Homeless people aged 16+.
Languages
Gujarati and access to interpreters.
