Health Action Zone Young Refugee Project
Service Offered
Health project to help young refugees up to the age of 19 gain access to services. Individual and group work, signposting to local services, advocacy and advice. In Lambeth the work is mainly with unaccompanied minors, Southwark with refugees in schools and in Lewisham with refugees with health needs or a disability. Work with refugee community groups on health and sexual health promotion.
Target Group
Young refugees up to the age of 19, parents and carers. Refugee community groups.
Languages
Albanian, Basque, Serbo-Croat, Spanish. Access to interpreters.
