Awaaz - Ethno-Sensitive Mental Health Project
Service Offered
Run by and for people from minority ethnic communities who have experience of mental health problems. Advice on mental health, information on treatments and alternative therapies. Individual support and advocacy for people having difficulty getting help from existing services. Training in IT and an employment project. Drop-in Wednesday mornings, supported leisure activities.
Target Group
People aged 19-60 from minority ethnic communities who have mental health problems.
Languages
Urdu, Hindi, Pushto, Gujarati, Punjabi, French.
