Akwaaba Ayeh Mental Health Advocacy Project
Service Offered
Advice, information, advocacy and support for people experiencing mental health problems and for their carers. Monthly support groups. Priority is given to African, African Caribbean and South Asian communities living in Leicester, but also offer a service to in-patients in psychiatric hospitals and units outside Leicester.
Target Group
African, African Caribbean and South Asian communities experiencing mental health difficulties.
Languages
Bengali, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
