Acrobat Reader
Explorer and Acrobat

There is a known problem reading Adobe Acrobat files with some versions of the Internet Explorer browser. You can avoid this problem by making the Acrobat Reader open separately.

Follow these steps:

  1. Exit from Internet Explorer.
  2. Start Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.
  3. Choose Edit > Preferences > General (Acrobat 5.0 or Acrobat Reader 5.0) or choose File > Preferences > General (Acrobat 4.x or Acrobat Reader 4.x).
  4. In the Options section, deselect Display PDF in Browser (Acrobat 5.0 or Acrobat Reader 5.0) or deselect Web Browser Integration (Acrobat 4.x or Acrobat Reader 4.x).
  5. Click OK, and then exit from Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.
  6. Restart Internet Explorer.

We also recommend upgrading to the latest versions of Acrobat Reader and Internet Explorer.

If you still have problems reading the Acrobat files please let us know using the feedback form.
