Developed by Citizens Advice - the independent advice, policy and campaigning charity - you can get information specific to all four UK countries - England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The Refugee Council
The Refugee Council is the largest independent organisation in the UK providing assistance to asylum seekers and refugees. Advice and information for asylum seekers and refugees in various languages.

Women's Aid
Women's Aid website information pages in languages other than English, including information about experiencing domestic violence, how to get help, legal rights and finding a safe place to live.

Asylum Aid
A charity which provides free legal advice and representation to refugees and asylum-seekers seeking safety in the UK from persecution. Also campaign for the fair treatment of refugees in the UK

Child Poverty Action Group
Details of all CPAG's activities including campaigns, publications and training. Also includes selected features from the Welfare Rights Bulletin and copies of briefings.

Citizens Advice
The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their money, legal and other problems by providing information and advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Electronic Immigration Network
EIN aims to link major information providers, advice workers and practitioners dealing with immigration, refugee and nationality law and practice in the United Kingdom.

EnrichUK is the gateway to a lottery-funded collection of 150 sites fuelling the online learning revolution. EnrichUK ranges across culture, history, social and economic development, science and art as well as regional and national 'sense of place' from England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Equal Opportunities Commission
The Equal Opportunities Commission works for a society that guarantees equality for women and men. The website provides advice for individuals and advice workers about their rights relating to equal pay and sex discrimination in employment, education and consumer affairs.

Resource Information Service provide practical information, legislation, discussion and statistics on homelessness, plus London advice agencies

Joint Council for Welfare of Immigrants
JCWI provides free advice and casework, training courses, and a range of publications including the Immigration, Nationality and Refugee Law handbook and Immigration factsheets.

London Advice Services Alliance (Lasa)
Multikulti is a Lasa project. This is our home site providing information on IT, welfare benefits (including training), and policy work in the UK advice sector. There are also details on our Advice and Information Management System software - AIMS, and our publications.
