Service Offered
Advice for Asian women on employment, benefits, health, education and training. Help with job search, application forms and CVs. Training in English, basic computing and dressmaking. Projects for women with mental health problems. Translation and interpreting. Transport for elders day centre and lunch club Thursday and Friday 10am - 3pm.
Target Group
Asian women, young and older women, those with mental health problems, unemployed women.
Languages
Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi and access to interpreters.
Area Served
Handsworth and surrounding areas in NW Birmingham (Ladywood, Newtown, Aston, Handsworth Wood).
