Service Offered
Culturally appropriate day care for Asian elders, mainly Bengalis. Range of personal care, including bathing, hair washing, haircutting. Cooked meals - £2.54 covers breakfast, lunch, and tea and coffee. Regular visits from chiropodist, optician, dentist and hygienist. Transport provided to and from the centre. Also run a carers' support group.
Target Group
Asian elders. The main user group is Bengali.
Languages
Bengali, Hindi, Urdu and access to interpreters.
